There are so many mindless animated movies being made on a regular basis, it was refreshing to see one that wasn’t just thrown together to make a quick buck. Pixar is so amazing at what they do. It is incredible to see how they are able to make computer animated characters (monsters no less) so real and lovable! You almost feel like you are living in this Monster world they have created and, for some reason, it isn’t weird! You'll frequently “tune-out” at least a few times during most movies. You know when you are watching and then realize it’s been 10 minutes and you have no idea what just happened? You are so invested in the characters and storyline during Monsters University, you don’t get distracted once!
