Disney dogs are a fan’s best friend. They’re arguably the best things about our favorite movies and have such a knack for stealing hearts with just a wag of the tail or a tilt of the head. With so many lovable pups to ooh and aww over, we decided to take on the impossible task of ranking some of these captivating canines. Believe us, it was ruff!
17. Nana (Peter Pan)
Nana’s got her paws full taking care of the Darling children. But she proves through and through that her love for them is as endless as their imaginations.
16. Dodger (Oliver and Company)
Dodger is undeniably cool, but don’t forget all those moments he protects and cares for little Oliver. Plus, that red bandana. Major cute points.
15. Stella (The Princess and the Frog)
Who could say no to that face? Certainly not us. And any dog who shares our appreciation for beignets is a real sweetheart in our book.
14. Bruno (Cinderella)
Bruno is such a dream. His sleep-barking is just adorable.
13. Slinky (Toy Story)
Slinky’s floppy ears and pudgy paws win him a spot on this doggone list.
12. Zero (The Nightmare Before Christmas)
Zero always looks to Jack with the widest eyes and happiest smile. And that little pumpkin nose is just the cherry on top.
11. Sparky (Frankenweenie)
Sparky’s boundless enthusiasm is totally infectious. He never fails to charm us.
10. Lady (Lady and the Tramp)
Leave it to Lady to make any situation a zillion times cuter.
9. Bolt (Bolt)
1 ear down + 1 ear up = Maximum cute! We’d scoop Bolt up in a heartbeat.
8. Rolly (101 Dalmatians)
Of all the Dalmatians, Rolly has to be our favorite. He’s got a huge heart and even huger appetite.
7. Copper (The Fox and the Hound)
That precocious personality and those furrowed brows get us every time.
6. Little Brother (Mulan)
Little Brother might’ve been a little character in Mulan, but he really steals the show (and our hearts).
5. Percy (Pocahontas)
We didn’t choose the pug life, the pug life chose us.
4. Pluto
Baby Pluto’s cuteness is out of this world!
3. Dug (Up)
He has just met you! And he loves you! Does it get any cuter?
2. Max (The Little Mermaid)
Few pups are fluffier, friendlier, or funnier than Max.
1. Winston (Feast)
Winston may be the newest Disney Dog, but it only took moments for him to win us over. We fell in love with him at first french fry bite.
