10 Disney Movie Mistakes You’ll Never be Able to Unsee

We all love a good Disney movie, right? Well, here's 10 Disney movie mistakes you won’t be able to unsee.

1. Cinderella

One minute Cinderella is wearing a short-sleeved wedding dress, the next minute her arms are well and truly covered by sleeves! That must be what happens when you fall in love with Prince Charming.

2. Tangled

Remember the shot in Tangled when Flynn strokes Rapunzel’s hair? In one shot he doesn’t have a shackle on his arm, and in the next he does. Make up your mind, Disney!

3. Finding Nemo

Now, either the Alligator poster fell down off the wall in the dentist’s office in Finding Nemo, or that is an animated movie mistake!

4. Aladdin

Aladdin is a classic Disney movie, but that doesn’t mean it’s without mistakes. When Rajah the tiger bites the seat off Jasmine’s suitors purple trousers, the audience can clearly see his polka-heart boxer shorts. When we finally see the Rajah in the courtyard, he has the suitor’s underpants in his mouth – but shouldn’t he have a bit of his trousers?

5. Beauty and the Beast

During a fit of rage, the Beast slashes a photo of his human self. The slashes in the painting originally appear downwards from left to right, but when Belle enters the Forbidden Wing where the picture is stored, the slashes appear downwards from right to left.

6. Lilo & Stitch

During the scene where Lilo is taking a hula lesson, two drummers are both holding yellow drums that are shaped like bowling pins. Cut back to the shot a little later, and the drummer on the right is holding a different drum.

7. Toy Story

Buzz Lightyear doesn’t think he is a toy at the start of the first movie. So why does he freeze when Andy enters the room? Only toys are supposed to freeze.

8. Up

We have a factual error for you about Up. The number of balloons shown in the movie would not be enough to lift the house. Whilst Pixar did research this, they chose to abandon accuracy and go with what looked best for the movie.

9. Monsters University

Mike and Sulley met in college, right? Maybe not, as Mike told Sulley in Monsters, Inc.: “You’ve been jealous of my good looks since the fourth grade, pal.” Maybe Mike was just exaggerating.

10. Cars

Pay close attention to the black Mercedes in this image, as it can be seen going through the floor.
